Maintenance and support for your AV installation

An installation that keeps working year after year

A 25,000-euro AV installation with a failed amplifier on a Friday night in the busiest month: that is a revenue problem. Good maintenance prevents it.

We tailor maintenance to your installation, whether we built it ourselves or someone else put it in. That can include preventive checks, software updates and the NEN 3140 inspection of your electrical installation.

What your tailored contract can include

We tailor all maintenance. You choose the parts that suit your installation and how intensively you use it:

  • Periodic inspection: our technician comes by for a thorough check of components, cables, software and sound levels. Where needed we recalibrate, clean racks and speakers, and replace ageing parts (cables, fans, batteries in wireless sets) in consultation with you before they fail. How often we come depends on how intensively your installation is used.
  • NEN 3140 inspection: the periodic inspection of your electrical installation, with the inspection report your insurer may ask for.
  • Agreed response time for faults: your contract sets out how quickly we respond when something goes wrong. Where possible, we look at the problem with you remotely.
  • Firmware and software updates: we keep routers, switches, AUDAC Touch, displays and other network components up to date with the latest releases and security patches.
  • Training for (new) staff: we show your team how to operate the installation, including people who join later.

NEN 3140: the inspection that often gets forgotten

Under the Arbowet (the Dutch Working Conditions Act) you as an employer must keep your electrical installations and equipment safe, and the Arbobesluit requires periodic inspection by a qualified person. NEN 3140 is the accepted standard for doing that and showing it. That also applies to AV installations, because they are connected to the mains. We carry out this inspection ourselves and provide the inspection report that your insurer and health-and-safety authority may want to see.

Who it is for

  • Hospitality where a fault in the installation means immediate lost revenue (a beach club in season, a restaurant on a Friday night, a club at the weekend)
  • Retail chains with digital signage across multiple branches
  • Corporate offices with hybrid meeting rooms that run every day
  • Cultural and event venues where technology plays a daily role
  • Hotels and hospitality with audio, conference technology and signage

How it works

  1. Free intake at your location: we map out your installation and see what needs attention. We also do this for installations we did not build.
  2. Tailored proposal: you receive a proposal with the parts that suit your installation and the way you use it.
  3. Fixed monthly price: you pay a fixed amount per month for what we agree together.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. We start with a free on-site intake. In it we map out your installation, see what needs attention and make a proposal for tailor-made maintenance.

That depends on the size of your installation and how intensively it is used. After the free intake you receive a proposal with a fixed monthly price.

Ad-hoc support is possible too. You call, we come and look, and we make a quote for the repair. With a contract you have an agreed response time and we inspect your installation periodically, so we spot wear sooner.

Yes, training for your team can be part of your contract. Handy when staff change: new people quickly learn how to operate the installation.

The Arbowet and the Arbobesluit (Dutch working conditions law) require you as an employer to keep your electrical installations and equipment safe and to have them inspected periodically. NEN 3140 is the accepted standard for doing that and showing it. The inspection frequency depends on the risk assessment (typically once every 3 to 5 years for low risk, annually for high risk). Insurers may ask for it when you claim. If in doubt, let us check it, that takes 20 minutes in a conversation. More information.

Yes. We agree the term and notice period together. If you are unhappy about something, we would like to hear about it first so we can put it right.
