Technical support for events

The crew that keeps your show running

A good event rarely comes down to the kit. It comes down to the people operating the kit, who know at the soundcheck what the artist wants, who spot at 19:45 that a microphone is cutting out and who let the show start at 20:00 as if nothing was wrong.

Our technicians come along with the kit or are available for standalone jobs. Sound technicians, lighting operators, video technicians, riggers and stagehands. All with the mindset that it is your show and we keep it running.

What our technicians do

Sound engineers: front-of-house and monitor mix, soundcheck coordination, working with artists and rider requirements. Experience with line array, point source and complex monitor setups.

Lighting operators: programming shows, live cueing, working with DMX controllers, MA Lighting consoles and standard fixtures. We have technicians who can handle both concert lighting and theatrical shows.

Video technicians: switching, IMAG operation, content cueing and working with LED walls, screens and projection setups. Including livestream operation if wanted.

Riggers: for truss, stages and flying positions. Certified for the work they do, with the right paperwork for large venues.

Stagehands: for build-up and break-down, load-in, load-out and the heavy work during the production.

Technical directors and project leaders: for larger productions where coordination across several disciplines is essential.

What makes our work different

We know that a technician is the first impression the artist gets of your production. And the last impression the venue gets of you after the break-down. So we send people who are prepared, arrive on time, ask questions before there are problems and work tidily.

We have been running productions of every scale for 25 years. From small corporate events with 1 technician to Reggae Rotterdam Festival with 25,000 people and a full crew. We know what a rider means, what a patch list is, what a runner does.

How we work

You call or email with the event brief: when, where, what kind of production, which kit setup, which technician disciplines you need. We send a proposal with crew makeup and day rate.

For returning events we often work with the same crew. For large productions we can have a technical director review the planning up front. On the day there is one point of contact on site.

Frequently asked questions

For a sound or lighting technician: 350 to 600 euros per day, depending on scale and experience level. For specialists (LED wall operator, technical director) somewhat higher. Including build-up and break-down or as a standalone day rate, by arrangement.

Our technicians also work on other people’s kit. We are brand-agnostic enough to get by with standard professional equipment. For very specific consoles (MA3, S6L, CL5 etc.) we check in advance who on the team can operate them.

For a simple corporate event with 1 microphone and background music: 1 technician. For a live concert with band, lighting, video and soundcheck flow: 3 to 6 technicians plus stagehands. We advise on the basis of your event brief.
