Freelance AV technician for events and installations
Are you an experienced AV technician working freelance? We’re growing our network of AV freelancers for bigger productions: festivals, Zomercarnaval (Rotterdam’s summer carnival), concerts and corporate events.
In between, we do fixed audio and video installations and service visits for clients, so the work stays varied.
What you'll do
- Rig and de-rig professional audio and video systems for events
- Set up, test and operate sound and lighting during live shows
- Work in crews with lighting, video and rigging techs
- Help out on fixed AV installations and service visits to clients
- Work with professional brands and well-maintained kit
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience in live audio, AV events or fixed installations
- You get stuck in: you can head out on your own and you work just as easily in a team
- You live in or around Rotterdam, or elsewhere in the Randstad
- You speak Dutch: a big plus, though not a must if you’re good at what you do
- Evenings and weekends in the season are fine by you
- You communicate clearly, with the crew and with the client on site
- You want to keep learning: network audio like DANTE, LED and new control systems come up more and more
- Tight sound and a show that runs right make your day
