Baoase Luxury Resort on Curaçao is known as one of the most exclusive stays in the Caribbean. The Master Villa, a detached 450 m² residence with a private infinity pool and views over Willemstad, set a clear requirement for the new audio system: crystal-clear sound in every zone of the villa, operated with a single touch, without guests seeing any of the technology at all.
In July 2025, Massive Pro AV, working with Technology Innovations Curaçao (TIC), installed a complete AUDAC audio installation that meets that requirement.
The challenge: a luxury experience with no visible technology
A villa of this standard welcomes guests for private dinners, ceremonies and relaxation. The audio experience should support those moments, not disturb them. That brings requirements which go beyond sound quality alone:
- Every zone of the villa (living space, bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor terrace and pool area) has to be covered evenly.
- The system has to be discreet. No visible cables, no conspicuous equipment that detracts from the interior.
- Operation has to be so simple that guests can take control of the music without any instruction.
- The installation has to withstand the tropical climate: heat, humidity and salt air.
The installation: AUDAC with DANTE technology
For the Master Villa we chose a fully AUDAC system, controlled via DANTE audio technology. DANTE makes it possible to distribute every audio channel over a single network cable, which drastically reduces the amount of visible cabling and makes the installation future-proof.
Equipment used
- More than 20 AUDAC loudspeakers, including the Ateo6M, WX502MK2OB and WX802MK2OB, spread across every zone of the villa
- NMP40 Audio Streaming Sourcecon™ Module
- 1 subwoofer for full bass response with music and entertainment
- AUDAC LUNA-F matrix processor as the central audio management system
- AUDAC BMP40 Bluetooth module for direct streaming from a smartphone
- AUDAC Touch control: an intuitive touchscreen that guests operate themselves
- Professional Procab cables for reliable signal transmission
Collaboration and delivery
The installation was carried out together with Technology Innovations Curaçao (TIC), our local partner on the island. Every component was positioned to measure and tuned to the acoustic properties of the space. After installation the system was thoroughly tested and configured for the villa’s specific use scenarios.
The result: sound you feel, technology you never see
Baoase’s Master Villa now has an audio system that blends seamlessly into its luxury surroundings. Guests control the music themselves via AUDAC Touch or Bluetooth, with no technical knowledge required. The system delivers the same sound level in every zone of the villa, from the bathroom to the outdoor terrace by the pool.
For the resort this means a noticeable improvement in the guest experience, with no technical faults or controls that demand extra attention from staff.
